Kit It Out- October's Counterfeit Kit Challenge

It's been a long time since I have played along. I have still been making kits, just not necessarily posting them to the site. Summer was hectic. Enough said on that. Anyway, I decided I should start posting and playing along again due to the following reasons:
1. Life has slowed down.
2.My fellow Get It Scrapped DT member , Katie  Scott, is the Featured guest designer.
3.I am taking May Flaum's Kit-tastic class.
4. Due to taking the Kit-tastic class, I wanted to go back to regularly sharing kits on my blog.

I made this kit with a specific photo in mind. I am hoping it works out because it involves dinosaurs and a very large fern. I plan to work with it this weekend. So now I bet you are expecting some boy themed papers with dinosaurs on them. Sorry to disappoint. This kit was about the pattern and the colors for me. I will make the theme work, but not with dinosaur themed papers.

 Kit Contents:
Patterened papers: October Afternoon, My Mind's Eye, Studio Calico
Alphas: Sassafrass
Stickers and Buttons: October Afternoon
Chipboard: American Crafts
Stamp: JBS Mercantile
Die Cut: Scenic Route
Other: Electrical tape

How much of the kit gets used is anyone's best guess. Only time will tell. Stay tuned to the blog! Meanwhile, If you would like to create your own Counterfeit Kit and join the challenge, check out October's Inspiration.
