Long Titles and PJ's

Yesterday, I mentioned how we loved to homeschool in our Pajamas. My son literally wakes up just about 15 minutes before his first class begins. I serve him breakfast while he sits and watches his class in his PJ's. He has about 20 minutes between classes but often, he opts to stay in his PJ's all morning. I recently created a layout for Get It Scrapped which documents the moment for us. I have documented our homeschool moments before but I had never given insight into our reasons for homeschooling or my response to people when they ask us why we choose to.

Would You Prefer to Ride a School Bus or Have Class in Your Pajamas? by Christy Strickler Supplies| Patterned Paper: Basic Grey, Crate Paper; Alphas: Sassafrass; Chipboard: Basic Grey; Canvas Border; Pink Paislee; Die Cut: Studio Calico

The long title sums up the whole story of the layout quite well. It really adds to my journaling and acts as part of the page design. I love how this page tells about our right now while at the same time, it documents our whole homeschooling career. Long titles can work well for you in the same way. Is there an activity or event that reoccurs in your family? How d you feel about it? Sum it up in a question or a phrase and consider using it as your next layout title.

  3. Love this page! Reminds me of good homeschooling memories. Neither my son or I are morning people, so this suited us perfectly.
