Scrapbook Challenges: Every Single Day

It's time for another sketch from Scrapbook Challenges. I seem to have a nice pet theme going this month. I get on kicks in which I just love to scrapbook all of our cats. The photos I chose today had very poor lighting, but I loved the way that Momo was perfectly posed. I used Totally Rad Labs to doctor is up a bit and change it to a black and white shot. I then kept most of the paper light to help lighten up the photo a bit more.

The layout came together very quickly. The design of the sketch is simple but based on solid principles. The added stitching around the edges really brings the whole design together and adds nice texture. Though the sketch didn't call for it, I chose to repeat the messy stitching in each of the upper layers.

Don't forget that you can play along with the sketch challenge too. Just head over to Scrapbook Challenges and look for the option to link up.
