Game On! Playing Centipede on a Rainy Day

If you didn't catch the post from the other day, we started a new game called Centipede over at JBS Mercantile. The object  of the game is to participate in the challenges and help your centipede grow. Since I helped issue a couple of the challenges over at the JBS Mercantile community, I figured I had better make sure to complete them myself. Plus, the weather was cooperating for my weather challenge.

I was able to snap some photos of the weather I love so much and I set to work using a mini kit I had created from older JBS Mercantile kits.  I was so happy to get to work that I neglected to photograph said mini kit until after I had used up some of the paper. That striped paper was a much larger sheet when this whole thing began.

The kit was inspired by the colors of the Playdate Cafe's Current challenge. It just so happens that JBS Mercantile is a Guest and Sponsor this week. Completing the color palette is also a centipede challenge. I am not sure I qualify to win this week's prize since I am a JBS Ambassador. You, however, might like to pop over and play for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate for some awesome JBS goodies of your choosing.

Rainy days can be kind of neutral toned which made the palette of Cappucino, Slate and Burlap a good fit. I would have preferred to have the stripes vertical. However, the size of the scraps I had left over sort of made the decision for horizontal stripes instead.

It's ok to combine challenges when you play Centipede. I combined three separate challenges into this one layout. My little centipede now has four segments. I guess it's time to head back over the JBS community to see how many more ways I can help him grow.
